All airguns, all the time...with some firearms thrown in for good measure.

The artillery hold

This is probably the most important article I've written. It shows you how to hold an airgun to get the most accuracy from it. This hold works on all guns...airguns, firearms and airsoft guns. Get smaller groups when you use the artillery hold!

Airgun silencers: What’s the big deal?

Airgun silencers that are removable and can be successfully used just one time on a firearm are considered to be firearms by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE). Yes, you read that correctly. The silencer that meets those specs is actually a FIREARM! Know the ins and outs of silencers, what you can use, what you can't use and how to stay legal.

Who needs a chronograph? A look at the Shooting Chrony

While this shows the use of the Shooting Chrony, the basics of using a chronograph are the same across the board. Airgunners use chronographs a lot more than firearms shooters. Even if I weren't a writer, I would get a chronograph so I could pick the right fill level for my precharged pneumatic guns, select the best pellets for any gun and to make sure my gun is in top operating order. Read to find out all the things you've been misssing without a chronograph!
